Some time ago my friend Alicia Núñez Puerto kindly asked me to help in her short-film "La primavera siempre vuelve" (Spring always comes back), a beautiful metaphorical piece about leaving our homes, chasing our dreams...and the feelings of the ones we leave behind, especially when we come back to them. We both have been living in different cities, countries and continents, leaving our families behind, so I connected with the story right away. The color script was specially challenging because the whole piece is in a very desaturated beige tone, and we still had to differentiate times of the day, passing of the years and emotional ups and downs of the main character, Grandma. I couldn't be happier with the final look. I hope you all get to watch it!
